I toured with Kuren for a few weeks as he did the support slot for ILLY’s Two Degrees Regional Tour. We got on really well, so throughout the tour I brought my camera along to gigs early to capture a lot of his material. Kuren (or Curtis for those who know him) produces EDM and Trap, while collaborating with the likes of Ta-Ku and other big produces to achieve fresh results.
She started off busking on Bourke Street and is now filling stadiums throughout Australia and selling out huge gigs in the States, South America, UK and Europe. It’s been an amazing journey to watch and film. I was officially signed on as Tash’s videographer on new years eve, 2016 - 2017, at On The Hill Festival. Soon after I was asked to handle her music video for Murder To The Mind, compiled of all the B Roll and shows I had filmed and organized others to film. Between then and now I have organized teams to film sold out arena shows, cut together a wide variety of social vids to help promote her music in The Triple J’s Hottest 100, sat down to do exclusive interview content, and been ever grateful for the whole experience.
I’ve headed out with this crew in Melbourne a few times. Mostly just for fun, but the sponsors enjoyed the latest vid and utilized it on socials. I’ll be heading out with them more in the future, putting together better vids as we go.
This was a big one for us. We were commissioned by Warner Music to do our first regional tour across the country with a crew. Flights, vans, hotels, night spots, bakeries galore, and jumping off a bridge. Had a mad time, made some good mates and kinda flipped when I realized after having filmed / cut for Tash Sultana, Amy Shark and now Illy, I've gone from doing this as a hobby to getting official with three upcoming ARIA nominated artists. Crazy.
Amy Shark is an ARIA award winning Australian singer/songwriter who I was brought on by UNFD to help film some content for an upcoming release of hers. I was brought along to film two of her three sold out shows @ The Corner Hotel. She was such a nice person to work for, both her and her husband Shane. Hope to do it again, some time.

Lately I’ve been heading to a few doofs and filming for a few DJs, and I gotta say these people know how to party. Press play and see.
These two boys. There’s not enough that can be said about em. I first saw Pat and Jack perform on Bourke Street to a large crowd circling them. I brought my camera to a few of their gigs, but it was New Years Eve @ On The Hill festival that brought us together to collaborate on many shows throughout 2016 - 2017. I filmed the boys in the studio, on the street, for album cover promo material and just for fun.
While doing tours, Pat gave me a lot of really solid advice, having done a lot of videography himself. I found out later on that their uncle taught me film when I was studying in Frankston, ten years earlier. Small world.
We met Josh Cashman @ Baha, when he was supporting Tash Sultana on her Notion tour and he quickly went from acquaintance to bro in a matter of gigs. With this clip, he wanted to bring his followers along for the ride, as well as say thank you to the people who have helped and supported him along the way. A special shout out to those who make an appearance in here: Pierce Brothers, Didirri, Melissa Jong, David Morgan, Ed Gamble, Anthony Sultana, friends, family and fans.
To celebrate the reopening of The Espy, I thought i'd dig up this front bar performance of The Nerve. A power band consisting of members from bands Cog, Mammal & Pre-Shrunk. I've known Zeke for about a decade now and I've usually been around him with a camera when it came to many of his musical collaborations. Zeke had gotten to know Lucius from Cog through shared gigs/stage antics. One particular performance @ Pyramid Rock Festival 06 where he got painted up silver and crushed The River Song intro. Yeah, that one blew me away. Anyhow, I put these two on camera a few times and they came to my friend Josh Meney and I, who were housemates at the time, and working on music videos, to film their new project. I had been waiting for Luc and Zeke to team up in a band for ages and their first gig was really next level.
Filthy Lucre are a duo set to challenge the limits of how big a band can sound with only two members. Taking inspiration from both delta blues and heavy desert rock, the fuzz-soaked riffs will have you wondering if it’s the eras of Muddy Waters or the Californian desert rock scene of the 90's you’re being drawn back to. Their live show is not compromised by the fact there are only two people on stage, the performance is equivalent to their unconventional recording techniques, with every aspect of the songs being played live without the use of loopers or digital technology.
Twelve Foot Ninja embodies originality in everything they do. Never has this been more evident than in their impressive debut album SILENT MACHINE. They followed up their album release with the Australian 'Silent Machine' Tour, which saw them selling out the iconic Corner Hotel for the first time, which is where we filmed a majority of our content for them.

We took our cameras into the final weekly installment of NEXT! @ The Colonial Hotel to collaborate with Destroy All Lines in showing you guys just how good NEXT! really was over its decade long lifespan. Scooter gave us the run down on why every Thursday, this place killed it. I remember, having to work the next day always sucked. Upon reflection, I think I lost a few jobs from repeatedly having a three day weekend... worth it. Many friendships made with a great soundtrack. Props for the good times and a big thanks to those who made it possible to party there for 10 years.
Commissioned by Napoleon regional business manager, Natalie Thomson to shoot and edit a short Instagram highlight reel.
Billy Zane was once a great actor. He didn't just play the staple antagonist in Titanic, or the stage performer in Tombstone #KurtRussell. He was also known in the 90s as The Phantom. This short video has nothing to do him. We just decided to name our drone after him. These are Billy's first flights. He's come so far.
Just some edits I do for fun. Usually just re-arranging cuts to make fan made music videos or trailers etc.
